On November 24, 1999, public radio station WILL in Urbana, Illinois dedicated an hour of their "Focus 580" programing to an update of the current human rights situation in Chiapas.

The guests on the radio program were Andrew Reding, Director of the Amercia's Project, World Policy Institute and Paul Hixson, a member of the Emergency Human Rights Delegation to Chiapas in September 1999.
