Trish hasn't always been in the fitness industry. She became interested in working out only after her weight skyrocketed to over 180 pounds in college. Knowing that her health could be in jeopardy, Trish knew something had to change. Through cutting portion sizes and beginning to walk and jog on the treadmill, she started to see dramatic results.

Working out and eating healthy became part of her lifestyle in graduate school. She joined the
YMCA of Akron and found herself spending time there when bored instead of watching television. By incorporating a resistance program and varying cardiovascular activity, Trish watched her body fat drop to 19 percent.

The fitness bug really bit when living in Los Angeles. As a member of
Bodies In Motion, Trish began attending kickboxing and boxing classes on a daily basis. Studying under Tommy Osuna and Stephen Quadros, Trish realized that she enjoyed fitness more than the average person. Wanting to learn more about how to improve her workouts, Trish became certified as a YMCA Personal Trainer. Shortly thereafter, she was certified as a Group Exercise Instructor through the YMCA and went on to receive a certification as a Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE).  Trish is also certified through ACE as a Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant, holds a TurboKick certification through Powder Blue Productions and is a certified Pilates Instructor by Pilates Institute of America.

Trish strives to continue to expand her knowledge. In 2005 she became a certified
Spinning Instructor through Johnny G and Maddog, and most recently received certification as a YMCA Pilates Trainer.

In addition to training, Trish is an accomplished double bassist, freelancing in the Pittsburgh area. She is a member of
The Polished Pearls and The Grifters.
