proj: exhibition background
Thousands of people are obsessed with drawing/sketching/journaling, a particular group of people prefer to use Moleskine as their medium to convey thoughts and feelings. In Nov 2004 I started this web site to record my journey, soon I found that I'm not alone and other people would love to show their work to the world as well. I'm grateful to have my company's support to spare some space in the store to host something I dreamed up - an exhibition of Moleskine drawings submitted by people from all over the world. The first exhibition was held from 15th March to 15th April 2005 after 3 months of preparation. Check out the photos here

Date: 22nd June 2005 to 22nd July 2005
Venue: city'super Taiwan store. B2, B1 203, The Mall, Sec 2, Tun Hwa S Road, Taipei 106, Taiwan
To Taiwan Community: I'm sure there are many more of you who love to show your work, especially in Chinese. Please help to broadcast this exhibition to anybody you know in Taiwan.
Special Event: On 25th June 2005, starting from 2pm, we have invited 3 Taiwanese illustrators to come to our store to demonstrate how they use their Moleskine and share their experience with you. You can understand more of their works here:
Nature of Exhibition
To present artworks of artists and individuals from all over the world. All the artworks will be the sole property of the creators/authors. Selected artworks will be presented in either the form of Moleskine notebook or POP print out based on the submission media. Author's name and contact information will be shown in the exhibition.
Submission Guideline
- Create your original artwork using Moleskine notebook
- If you plan to submit in notebook format: send the notebook to Patrick Ng at Suites 1702-3 World Finance Centre, South Tower, 17 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong
- If you plan to submit digitally: send a scanned image at least 400 dpi in JPG format to Patrick Ng
- In both cases, clearly indicate your NAME, CONTACT PHONE NUMBER, EMAIL ADDRESS
- NEXT DEADLINE: 15th June 2005
- Successful applicants will be notified either by phone or email
- Submitted notebooks will be returned after exhibition, we are not responsible for any damage, however we'll try to keep the original condition as much as possible
- Successful exhibitors will have free gifts offered by city'super
