INSTANT AND INSTINCTIVE GRATIFICATION

As three wire fox terriers (one of whom is deceased) and a black cat, we are quick to admit our occasional bouts of quick-temper. That is to say, we have a pep, a verve, a compulsion, a hair-trigger urge to get hot under our collars when we want results that don't appear forthcoming.

When we want something, we usually want it NOW. No IOUs for our ASAPs, please.

Some of our wants, our must-haves, our desires and our gimmes:
1. Daily Dave finds a morning coffee bar that suits him, so that he may prolong his vigor. A Fountain of Youthful Iced Coffee for Dave, please.
And Dave, how fortunate you are to be able to sit inside and drink your iced coffee. Dogs, or coffee drinkers with dogs, are not so lucky.
2. Dogs, or coffee drinkers with dogs, may sit inside a Starbucks and drink their coffee or bowl of water. Whichever they prefer.
3. Dan Rather gets 70 million bucks from CBS, Sumner Redstone and Leslie Moonves. The truth hurts, CBS. And it can get expensive.
4. Dogs are taught reading and writing in obedience classes. No more "woof, woof, bark, bark, I hate taking a bath." Let's elevate the dog discourse.
5. A box of Frangos .
6. Ethics for everyone, not just journalist dogs.
7. An FDR dog squeaky, or at least a Fala squeaky. Let icons be icons.
8. Jeff at SideSalad gets his own food court, at the location of his choice.
9. Doggie Dad gets to see the backside of Jellytop. Oh, let's rethink that...
10. We get to go on a grand ride in Doggie Dad's new Chevy II.
