Then came one of the coolest sites on the web: the Internet Archive Wayback Machine, a library of over 55 billion web pages, including old versions of existing pages -- and sites that have long since disappeared. Which means you can again read An Angeleno in Hell by clicking here and following links for the year 2000.
Don't get me wrong, the City (as San Francisco is called--and, yes, the capital "C" in "City" is pronounced) has its nice points. But Los Angeles and the San Franciso are like oil and water. It's okay for a few moments. But after that, . . . well, I'm an LA boy.
