• Kevin and the Abyss

        This spring Kevin and I tried something new and went on a trip to the  Caribbean  to spend a week living on a scuba diving boat. The trip started on May 19th when we flew to Miami to spend an evening on or own before our week on the boat. We spent the afternoon there making sure we had everything we needed for the trip and wandering around Miami. That evening we had a nice dinner under the stars at the Metro Kitchen in the Astor Hotel.  

        The next morning we got up and caught a plane for the Turks and Caicos Islands where we then took a cab to the marina to meet the Aggressor II dive boat. We got there a little early so we hung out at the Tiki hut and had a few cocktails while we waited.

        Once the boat was ready the crew took care of getting all of our luggage loaded on the boat and into our state rooms. From that point forward we spent our whole week having great meals, hanging out in the sun and diving as many as 5 times each day. The crew was amazing and took care of everything we could possibly need and all of the people on the boat were a lot of fun.

          Before each dive either ChrisTOPHER or Piers would draw a map of the site we were about to dive and give us the run down on where to go and what to watch out for.. The pictures of the maps don't do them justice - they were very cool
