BRIAN KOTHE
- 1990
Possibly the best all around athlete aver to
compete at Park High School. Brian was the only athlete ever
to earn four letters in one year. As a starter on the football
team in 1989, he injured his shoulder badly enough so that
he could not play again that season. Instead of sitting around
feeling sorry for himself, Brian joined the Cross Country
team and became the teams 4th best runner. In swimming he
placed second in the state meet in two events. In Track, Brian
placed 2nd in the 1989 State Meet in the 800 Meter Run and
was on the 3rd place 1600 Meter Relay. He also holds the school
record for the 800 Meter Run (1:56.4). WE HAVE ATHLETES
ON THIS TEAM EVERY YEAR WITH AS MUCH OR MORE ATHLETIC ABILITY
THAN BRIAN KOTHE BUT WE DO NOT ALWAYS HAVE ATHLETES WITH HIS
COMPETITIVENESS, DESIRE AND WORK ETHIC. HOW DO YOU
MEASURE UP???

GREG WILLIAMS
-1986
Greg had a best time of 14.6 in the 110 High
Hurdles and placed 6th in this event in the 1986 State Meet.
He was a very hard` worker who was at best an average hurdler
as a junior. We have hurdlers on this team every year who
could run 14.3 or better if they worked as hard as Greg did.

BRENT MOSS -
1990
For an athlete who was not blessed with a great
deal of speed, Brent was an extremely important part of the
Park Track Team. Don't get me wrong, Brent was not slow, he
ran 23.0 in the 200 meters and had a relay split of 50.2 in
the 1600 Meter Relay. It was just that he did not have blazing
speed. With this type of ability though Brent managed to run
on a 1600 Meter Relay team that finished 3rd in the State
Meet in 1989 and 4th in 1990. The 1990 team set a school record
of 3:20.8 at the state meet. Brent was also a 12' 6"
Pole Vaulter and a 21' Long Jumper. He was an excellent athlete
who competed as well as anyone that I have ever coached. In
1990 Brent accepted a full football scholarship from the University
of Wisconsin and was the most valuable player in the 1992
Rose Bowl.

ADRIAN ELLIS
- 1991
The greatest Triple Jumper in the History of
Track and Field in the city of Racine. One of the greatest,
if not the greatest Track athletes ever to be produced in
the city of Racine. Adrian was the only back to back state
champion in Park High School History. He was state champion
in the Triple Jump in 1990 and in 1991and holds the school
record with a jump of 48' 2 1/4". This jump was the second
best ever in the history of the State meet. Adrian was a tall,
skinny, weak freshman who became a state champion. How did
he do it? By working as hard as he could! Someone once asked
Adrian how they could be as good as him and his reply was,
"All you have to do is work hard". Not only was
he a great triple jumper but he was also an excellent 400
meter runner. Adrian received a Track Scholarship from the
University of Minnesota in 1991. As a freshman at Minnesota,
he placed 6th in the Triple jump in the 1992 "Big Ten
" Indoor Track Meet. As a senior, he was the "Big
10" indoor champion in the Triple Jump. How many potential
State Champions do we have here at Park? How many athletes
do we have that are willing to work as hard as he did?
