 Jimmy Buffett honored the city of New Orleans, the victims of Hurricane Katrina and all his friends in the city with a moving rendition of City of New Orleans during his Labor Day concert in Chicago. I have a copy of it for you here....

 On December 8, 2004 Christopher and I watched a live performance of Jimmy Buffett from his beloved town of New Orleans. Shown live at 92 movie screens across the nation, he shared the history of his career and how he got his start in New Orleans. To end his show, he brought on stage a blind blues piano player named Henry Butler and played a beautiful song called "Do you know what it's like to miss New Orleans." Wednesday in Indianapolis Buffett dedicated his encore to New Orleans by reviving the song. I have it for you here! |
