  • A fisherman in action. Fishermen lease ponds in outskirts of Khambhat. They come from as far as Orissa.
  • "Taad" trees at sunset. These mysterious trees have made few square miles their home, outside Khambhat. I have not spotted them anywhere else in the region.
  • A temple in Khambhat. Khambhat boasts of 365 temples. One for each day of the year.
  • Small pond in Khambhat. The bullock carts are still used as a means of transportation.
  • The dusty town of Khambhat.
  • Migratory birds in a farm near Khambhat.
  • "Saras" are always seen in a pair. If one dies, the other kills itself by beating its head on rocks.
  • A pair of bullocks. They are being replaced by low maintenance camels for farming.
  • While youth in India are flocking in cities, few remain to manage the flocks.
