Le regole (non scritte) del giornalismo


Dieci regole per ridere. Ma non troppo

Queste dieci regole non le insegnano nella scuole di giornalismo, ma sono abbastanza esatte, anche se è chiara l'ironia della column. La mia preferita è questa:

"If the President of the United States is accused of violating the law on the same day that an African country erupts into civil war and an especially gloomy economic report is released, and you must decide which one is your lead story, ask yourself this: Did the local sports team just win a big game?"

Se l'undici settembre 2001 il Parma avesse vinto qualcosa - anche la Coppa Italia, per dire - avremmo avuto qualche problema nella gerarchia delle notizie. E non sto scherzando.
