I drive a lot of miles each year on business. Anyone who regularly sits in jams on the M6 or M25 will know that there are only so many times one can listen to the same set of CDs. So, to keep road rage at bay, I make up stories. I populate them with characters from chance meetings, people I know (but I change the names to protect the innocent), and drivers of other cars. More often than not I can't remember the story when I reach my destination but those I've managed to recall are on the following pages. I don't pretend these are great works of fiction but there may just be someone else out there with the same slightly skewed view of life who will enjoy them.
