  • The Pastwas are of interest because Helen Pastwa married Michael Pajewski on 15 May 1886 in Chicago. Helen Pastwa was born November 1866 in Germany. Possibly the above census record record is for her parents or possibly and uncle. See also the John and Mary Pastwa 1900 Census Record.
  • More data is available from the 1900 Census as only a partial extraction of key data was done.
  • Note a Michael and Julia Pastwa were found in the 1910 Census. Michael Pastwa indicated he was 31 years old, thus born before April 16, 1879. He also indicated that he immigrated in 1880 and had been married 11 years or about 1899. The 1880 immigration date matches the John and Elizabeth Pastwa above and suggests that he was their son.


Notes on the 1910 Census
  • A Michael and Julia Pastwa were found in the 1910 Census at 5041 Justine. However, the data were not transcribed to these pages as the connection is very distant.
  • In the 1910 Census, Michael Pastwa indicated he was 31 years old; therefore, he was born before April 16, 1879. He also indicated that he immigrated in 1880 and had been married 11 years or about 1899. The 1880 immigration date matches the John and Elizabeth Pastwa above and suggests that he was their son.
