  • At times "Gainowski" has been spelled "Geinowski".
  • It is thought that the John Gainowski above is a son of Joseph and Rose Gainowski. See their 1900 Census Record. That 1900 Census indicates that John was born November 1875, thus he should be 34, not 33. It also indicates that the immigration year was 1886 and not 1885. While these are discrepancies, the data are remarkably close as is the name and the living location. Thus it is believed that this is Joseph and Rosa Gainowski's son.
