Vacation 2009, Day Sixteen
Mom and I went to the beach today just to do some walking. It was not sitting weather- the sand was wet, and that's no good. The walk was good, though, but not as good as dinner!
We went to the Thai restaurant about 50 yards outside our back door. I didn't get shots of everything, but I got the appetizers:
Chicken satay with peanut sauce up close, and dumplings inthe background with classic soy/honey dipping sauce. For dinner, I had the cashew chicken, which was marked as hot and spicy and wasn't. I was not disappointed, though- it was very good! Mom had crunchy chicken something. No noodles or rice. Her's was also very good.
