Vacation 2009, Day Fourteen (Part 2, on Day Fifteen)
Here's proof of the beach! First, State Beach directly in front of my towel.

Next, State Beach to my right:

State Beach to my left, with the large seagull watching us:

It was not a beautiful beach day, as you can tell from the cloud cover, but the sun was shining through some of it, and it was warm enough to be there. Today is absolutely beautiful! And we will be off to the beach in an hour or so. I'll have more pictures from there.
After the beach, mom and I came home and finished "Religulous" with Bill Maher. Awesome documentary about religion, not just in America, but all over the world, though its focus is Christianity in America.
Then dinner. It was my birthday, so I got to pick where we went. I always pick Jimmy Sea's! I had the linguini carbonara, and I got a picture of the full plate:

Let me add that the pan is easily 12 inches across. I brought 2/3 of it home with me and will have it for lunch for the next three days. Mom had the chicken Vienna:

Again, 12" pan full of penne pasta, chicken, shrimp, brocolli, and alfredo sauce. She thinks it is yummy. She also brought 2/3 of it home.
After dinner, we went by Mad Martha's and I got raspberry yogurt in Sierra MIst as a float. Mom got something chocolate ice cream in a cup. Realize that Mad Martha's makes their own ice cream right there in the shop- it's not made off-island and shipped over, nor is it made somewher else on island and trucked in. I wonder if they'll let me get a picture of the freezers in the back making the ice cream? Hmmmm.
Back home for part of a move about baseball in the Dominican Republic. It was in Spanish with subtitles, and it got interrupted by one of mom's clients calling me about selling a Mac. We turned the movie off and watched Guy Firetti and "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives." Then an early bedtime, because, for some reason, you just get tired earlier up here.
All said and done, it was a wonderful birthday!
