Vacation 2009, Day Thirteen

I was so excited to turn tenyears old. I remember my cousin, Sydney, talking baout how great it was to be a teen. And I turned ten! I was in the double digits! And I went up to him and declared, "I'm ten! I'm a teenager!" and he said to me, "You're not a teen till your age has 'teen' in it, dummy!"

I was crushed.

So, today is the first teen day of this vacation. Dialysis went amazingly smoothly after the last two debacles. Blood cultures came back negative- I don't have a possible infection, or any infection at all. We don;t know why I had the fever... mght have been equipment malfunction. So, I'm still well!

Got home, went to lunch with mom at Linda Jean's. She had her fish and chips, I had steak tips and mashed. Was delicious! (But tomorrow is my birthday and dinner willbe at Jimmy Sea's, the best restaurant in the world!) The sun came out full and bright this afternoon, despite predictions to teh contrary. It might even be beach weather tomorrow! Yay!

Tonight, I am at Season's Pub for MV Star Search Karaoke. I could win a trip to Las Vegas!I have no clue how this works, but I'm willing to give it a try. More on that after it's all over.
