Went to the grocery store today (because we have to, once a day, at least). I got cream cheese, a loaf of bread, and a head of lettuce. Mom got some protein supplement packets and some shoes (it's a pretty eclectic grocery store).

Got home. Walked a bit. It rained pretty heavily while mom was cooking dinner (steaks in the George Foreman Grill, squash casserole, green beans, salad, squash bread and cream cheese for dessert). Our former next door neighors, Van and Bob came by for a visit. It was good to see them- they are good people.

To bed late tonight, I hope, so that I can sleep through dialysis tomorrow. Mom has a telephone consultation from 10-11, otherwise, she would sleep later.

I am hoping it is prety tomorrow. Apparently, though, the jet stream is not cooperating, and we are going to be stuck with this weather for another couple of days. Bleh. But, it is keeping the tourists away. From a resident's point of view, that's a good thing. From a city point of view, that's bad.

Tomorrow night is a karaoke night. We'll see what I sing. Probably American Pie again tomorrow, if rotation is short. I don;t like eating up 10 minutes of time if there's a long list of people waiting to sing.

I'll have the laptop with me at dialysis and karaoke. Dialysis won't let me chat, not even through Meebo, but karaoke uses an open server... I canbe online and singing and uploading pics and blog entries all at the same time!
