Vacation 2009, Day Seven 

Computer woke me up to music at 6:00. That's OK- it was supposed to. Up and out of bed, downstairs to eat cereal breakfast, out of the cottage at 6:23 to make it to the hospital b 6:30 for my 7:00 dialysis sitting. New group of nurses today- they are also very nice. I'll have them again on Saturday.

After sleeping through most of dialysis (I watched an episode and a half of "Key West" toward the end), I had lunch at The Black Dog Sandwich Shoppe on State Road in Vineyard Haven. I had The Pilgrim: sliced turkey, homemeade cornbread dressing, cranberry sauce, onions, light mayo:

Yeah, fries and a pickle, too, and a glass of pink lemonade! It was yummy! Oh. I took that bite out of it before remembering to take a picture- it didn't come like that.

I then dropped by the appliance repair place that isn't really an appliance repair place- all their repairs are handled off-island. I needed to give them my cell phone n umber so they can reach me tomorrow when the part for the washer comes in. I need to be here to let them in. Kills the day, because I don't know when they'll be here, just that they are going to call and give me a two-hour window of opportunity. Bleh.

The sky is cloudy today, and it might rain. It's chilly, not at all a beach day. So, maye a DVD, maybe just me online. We'll see. Maybe a DVD and me online... the wonders of Wi-Fi!
