Vacation 2009, Day One

I've started my trip, technically, because I've left my house. But I am sitting in the dialysis chair for anouther three and a half hours before I get to leave Macon.

My first stop tonight will be Boone, NC. I'll get there around midnight, I think, based on Google Maps. I will be there most of tomorrow, if not overnight on Sat. That means I driv elike hell on Sun,  but that's a given, anyway. It'll be a 12 hour day Sun. And that's OK.

Mon will be a short drive to Woods Hole from wherever I stopped Sun night. I'll be on the island by lunch, I think, certainly before dinner, which will be at Jimmy C's Pan-Seared Pasta, probably the carbonara.

I'll post pics here as I take them. Not sure how often that willbe, but I've got a morning dialysis seating while I am on the island, which means I'll still get to the beach every day. I know I need to finish my script for the 15-minute short feature, so I'll have lots to do while I'm there.

And, 10 hours later, I am safely in Boone, NC. I am under contract to be here two nights, including tonight, so I will be leaving here 8ish Sun morning to book to Massachusetts for a restful night before the ferry on Mon. All is good. I'll let you know what happens tomorrow.
