Spring Break, Day Eight


Playing Catch Up

Left the hotel at 9:30am.

Got to the airport in Montego Bay at 11:30.

My flight was delayed by an hour, left Montego Bay around 3:00. Realize that there is a one hour time difference.

Landed in Miami at 4:15, Jamaica time, 5:15 local time Miami. Meaning I had one hour to get off the plane, get through Passport Control, then baggage claim, then customs, then security, then to my gate to catch my connecting flight into ATL.

Yeah.. no way.

In addition to that, I had to get to ATL before 11:00pm in order to get Groome back here to Macon.

Flight from Miami was delayed two hours. A good thing for me.. I made the flight.

Baggage claim in ATL was quick. Mine was one of the first ones off. However, it was 10:45, and I needed to get out the door and to the Groome's parking space. Was close. I made it, only to find that the van was full. Fortunately, there was another one around the corner. Yeah, the very last van of the night.

So, I am home and ready to go to bed in my own bed. Wish.
