Spring Break, Day Five
"You were supposed to take him to the spa!" "I
took him to the spa!" "He put me in the vegetable steamer!"
Breakfast was nothing special- scrambled eggs and
ham and two croissants.
Signed up for
the Dolphin Show tomorrow... I'll get to swim with them, then snorkel and swim
around the coral reef.
Saw Kelly from
last night. She works on the hotel's entertainment staff.. she's supposed to
talk with me. That's cool. We chatted about movies- she's already been in one,
One
Love. I'll check the IMDB when I have internet
connection.
Then, on the seven-year-old
advice of Jenny, I had a hot rock massage. Scented oils and warm stones. Muscles
got relaxed, loosened. It felt really good! As that was happening, I realized
that everyone in America needs a trained masseur or masseuse at home, at which
point no one would ever need lawyers again, because no one would ever get mad at
anyone else ever again. No more drugs for hypertension or high blood pressure.
It would revolutionize the economy and the way we did
business.
"But first, the whores!" "No,
no... first the business, then the whores." "Oh, all right."
-The Kids in the
Hall
After the spa, I had lunch,
then hit the beach. The oil was still on me. Why not make use of it? Suntan oil
never smelled so good! Passed out on the beach, woke up long enough to roll
over, and passed out again. Got a lot of
sun.
Came back to the room, showered,
and took a nap before dinner. Dinner was
good.
Then came the evening show.
Tonight, it was show tunes and choreography. Not my favorite, but they ended
with Greased
Lightning from
Grease.
Exceptional dance work, including some aerobatics off the stage and into the
audience. Always a plus!
And now, it is
nearly midnight, and I need to get to sleep so I canbe rested for the dolphins
tomorrow. I also need to get my transfer back into the airport. I have two more
full days.
