Spring Break, Day Three

Lunch and Rehearsal

A slow day yesterday.

After Universal, I needed my sleep. Got to sleep until 10:30, because that's when my alarm woke me.

Will's mom and I had lunch with Will's friend, Chris. He's a good guy. We got to talk about our lives and projects and I Discovered why Will wanted us to meet. Despite Chris' penchant for being nervously focused, we are amazingly similar, with amazingly similar agendas. I think we'll be able to help each other, give each other ideas and moral support, if nothing else.

After lunch, Mom and I went to Applebee's to meet Will for a couple of drinks after the baseball game, then we went home to prepare for Will's rehearsal time for Act Two of To Kill a Mockingbird. That is such a good story! Anyway, the cast seems marvelous! Will plays the prosecuting attorney against Atticus. He did a good job, despite having a sore throat form selling beer all day at the stadium (he's a beer guy).

We came home and pretty much died... it had been an exhausting two days for Will, and I was pretty wiped out, too.

I am now in the Tampa Airport on Day Four, waiting to board my flight to Miami where I will catch a connecting flight to Montego Bay, followed by a one-hour bus ride to Hotel Riu Rio Ochos, where I will be until Sunday. As I told my travel agent, "I want a beach and umbrellas in my drinks." That's what I'm getting!

I will take pics with the iPhone and vid with the ATC2K, even in the water (see the vids from Universal Studios, The Jurassic Park Boat Ride)!

I wish, very much, that you were here.
