First Day
Because it is important...
The first day of school with students. Wow. My own
class of kids! well, for classes of kids. We start changing classes
tomorrow.
Students... students are great! They are my wonder children! I am teaching Seventh Grade Language Arts this year. I have a homeroom, four LA classes, and a LA remediation class. It's a full day, but it's supposed to be. The other teachers in my cluster are going to be fun to teach with. Hard to beat that.
Which means something is going to happen. The Seventh Grade is very small. The twelve homerooms average 16 students. Which means we might lose a Seventh Grade cluster. I might lose my job. We'll see.
Until then... lots of happy thoughts!
