10/11/03 Hiking & Apples @ Taylors Falls 9:00 to 2:00


We're going to have a very lovely trip up to Taylors Falls to do a little hiking, or if you'd rather you can just enjoy the scenery with your friends. Then we'll go to a little apple farm for a hayride and some Brats.

Here are the details:
9:00 ready to leave the church (sorry it's kind of early, but we'll live)
10:00 arrive at Taylors Falls, do some looking & hiking if you wish
11:30 Go to Pleasant Valley Orchard for a hayride and lunch

Cost $5 (including lunch)

Bring Please bring good walking shoes, warmer clothes (high 66 degrees), a jacket to keep the rain off (70% chance of precip.) $5 and your signed permission slip

Lunch will be a Brat, chips & pop. If that doesn't sound appealing, talk to Nate or bring something of your own (cost will be $3 less).

Fri - October 10, 2003

10/17/03 7th 8th 9th boys sleepover at Minister Nate's



After youth group on the 17th of Oct Mike Law and I will take the 7th, 8th, & 9th grade boys up to my place in Blaine for a sleep-over. We'll have a directed discussion to start the night, and after that we'll just have fun! We'll bring up the LCD projector and get the xBox, PS2, and Nintendo64 going!

Bring: sleep-over clothes & toiletries, sleeping bag, pillow, any games you like, and snacks to share.
Cost: just valuable sleep-time
Bring a signed permission slip, please.
