First look at Kodak Ektachrome 64T
Those nice people at Kodak UK have supplied
onsuper8.org
with a few test cartridges of the new Ektachrome 64T 7280 film stock.
Announced at the same time as the stalwart Kodachrome 40 was discontinued,
the 64T offers a new colour reversal stock which according to Kodak gives
“excellent colour reproduction, fine grain and high sharpness”.
Originally slated for a Summer 2005 release we understand that the date
has now slipped slightly to early Autumn.
The cartridge shown above is a pre-production example and as part of the
customer trade trials for Kodak,
onsuper8.org
will be testing this new film and reporting back with results shortly.
