Deceptive Marketing

So it is starting to become clear that we have been taken in by AT&T Broadband's deceptive marketing. When we signed up for cable, we were told our package cost $34.99, period. No mention of a special three month promotional rate. Now, three months later, it is crunch time.

Sucks. Apparently I need to provide my drivers license number in order to talk to someone on the phone. Incredible. I started a new blog just to chronicle the events. If I don't I'll just get frustrated. But with a blog, at least there might be some entertainment factor. We'll see. Curiously, the spell checker built into Mac OS X used by iBlog flags blog as a misspelling. Ouch!

And when I say sucks, I mean that as an opinion, not as an assertion of fact. Just in case there was any confusion.

I sent feedback to Lifli about the problem with Japanese text in my Latent Jokes entry. Got a response in 19 minutes!! iBlog still has a number of version 1.0 issues, but I have a feeling iBlog is going to become a great product.
