Is That Legal tells the story of federal district judge Louis E. Goodman, subpoenaed in 1953 to testify about the activities of a Grand Jury, and how he (on behalf of the Judicial branch of government) told off Congress. It bears retelling, because James Sensenbrenner, Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, is threatening a Minnesota judge with the same gall 50 years later.
