Freedom Letters



The current mood is to rename so-called "French" things to show people's disgust with the French position on Iraq. Pretty silly if you ask me. I can just imagine the French diplomats asked about the "Freedom Fries" popular in Washington:

"Yes -- we French have always been insulted that you call these greasy disgusting fried potato things French fries. We are glad to see you silly Americans have begun calling them something else. "

Personally, I'm now enclosing a condom in all my letters to politicians these days with the obligatory "Make Love, Not War". I call them "Freedom Letters".
