Guaranteed Victory in the 2004 Presidential Election...



...to the candidate who promises to outlaw telemarketing. Basically, 80% of the voters have already made up their minds. Just enough of the vote could be swung just by proclaiming that the Federal Government will consider telemarketing just another form of terrorism.

Hey, Al Gore lost the the 2000 election by being soft on prescription drug benefits. Telemarketing is a hot spot issue for a lot of people and could easily make the campaign a lot of fun. Hint: Make sure that when the other candidate gets money from the telemarketing companies, this is publicized loudly: "Yes, Newt Bush is getting money from the antisocial people who get paid to disrupt your dinner".
