I was on the edge of my seat the whole concert -- his ukulele playing is absolutely captivating. From the traditional Hawaiian, to Led Zeppelin, to Ave Maria, to the sound of traditional Japanese koto, to Beatles standards, Jake seems to pull more sound out of the ukulele than anyone else on the planet. Another part of the strategy could also be to outsource the writing instruction bit: if people read the blog and comment on it: Staffan will be getting feedback on his writing from a wider range of readers, which is exactly the kind of thing which is hard to do as a homeschooling family.
