The weekend in summary

Grrr
The fun part of the week started at 6pm on Friday with the release of Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. Yes, I actually hung out at a computer store for an hour and a half talking with other like-minded individuals, playing with the new OS on the in-store computer and drinking 'Tiger' beer. Of course, I bought a copy and went home to start the installation.

From Geek to Chic
After I started the installation I headed down to Double Bay for a friend of a friends birthday, which was a fun night. The bar is called Cherry Jam and I had heard good things about it, it was good but wasn't as intimate or 'clubby' as I expected.

Testing... testing...
Saturday was all about playing with the new features of Tiger and lazing around with a hangover. I'll have more to write about Tiger later, but in short, it's a must have upgrade, but not all that I hoped for.

Down the road
Sat night was beers down at the Commodore. I am not a huge fan of the Commodore, it's usually a little pretentious for my liking, but I was there with a great group of locals, so it was fun. Probably one of the first nights I've felt like a local in McMahons Point.

Again...
Another small hangover, so a cruisey day today. I might really get used to not having to work on the weekend. I did a couple of little things to keep things in order, but nothing strenuous. Hung out in the park reading the paper.

HHG2TG
I think the plan is to catch up with some friends and go and see Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy tonight. Sounds like the perfect end to a weekend.
