Hitchikers is good



So I just checked out Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy at the superhuge-cinema-multiplex on George Street (I love the Orpheum, but it's a pain in the ass to get to...).

What I thought:
- I liked it
- I had expectations that it wouldn't do the book justice (and nothing will ever be as good as the book) it did a better job than I expected
- It wasn't as americanised as I feared (which is good)
- Trillian is going going to be the geeks latest pin-up girl - she is super-cute
- I don't know how much you would understand if you haven't read the book
- Martin Freeman is great as Arthur and Alan Rickman is perfect as the voice of Marvin

Just under an hour of entertainment - worth the 1450 cents I handed over
