Another great Sydney DaySat
6:30 Walk 9:00 Breakfast at The Deck, Milsons Point. As noted last week, I tried the pancakes with honeycomb butter and maple syrup. While the honeycomb butter was great, the panackes (3) were a little small and one was a little burnt and there wasn't much maple syrup. I'm going to ask for a little pot of extra maple syrup next time. Great spot to read the SMH in the sun though. The Deck is apparently only open Sat, Sun & Public Holidays between 8am - 11am. 1:00pm Locked myself out my flat (again) luckily the Real Estate Agent was still there, so I got the spare key and didn't have to repeat the previous attempt to climb into my flat 3:30pm Lunch with Dee at East Circular Quay, a nice pasta and beer in the sun watching the tourists go by 4pm Went to see the Frost*bite exhibition at the Sydney Opera House. It was OK but nothing overly fascinating and quite small. 7pm Walk - Ran into one of my best mates and his wife down from the Central Coast so they came over and checked out the apartment. 9pm Party in Surry Hills on the roof-top of an apartment block, nice view over the city (should've taken a photo). Great bunch of people. 1am We all went out to Havana, I originally wore thongs especially so I couldn't go out, but managed to get in so that meant I had to dance for the next couple of hours...
