Meal of the week



Dining out this week, the winner was the Pink Peppercorn.

For one thing, it's not often you see Laotian food within cooee of the city and certainly not in slick surrounds such as these. And not all the concessions to the location are bad - staying open until midnight is great and the tables on the street are a boon for smokers and those keen to take in the street's unique ambience. But the real appeal is the food. It's made with love and doesn't cost a bundle....

It was great food, with a really unique taste. There was a big group of us, so we got to try a whole range of entrees and dishes. Highly recommended!
