Me (Richard Bryan Anderson)
You’ve already seen this one, no doubt, but some things stand up well under a lot of repeating:
Around the time of Pearl Harbor
Yes, you’ve surely agreed: I was a beautiful baby.

With two professional photographic paparazzi in the house (Pappyrazzo and Mammyrazza?) I was profusely photographed, early on, mainly with the Speed Graphic. Those photos exist today (2006) mostly as prints and negatives in varying degrees of preservation. I’ll be incorporating them in this account as I encounter them, judge them worthy and incrementally informative, and get them scanned.

During the 35-mm era (mid-’50s to mid-’80s), I was more frequently behind the camera than in front of it. Others, particularly Pappy, did snap the occasional image of my ill-at-ease adolescent self. Then, as our kids came along, I also managed to get into some shots that have survived. Here’s a roughly-chronological collection of pictures of me that haven’t made it into this History on other accounts. And here are links to references to me herein.
