Limericks

The following (except Veq's Elfway limerick and Magnels Maak limerick) have all had minor, or in some cases major, adjustments by Okasa to fit them into the Limerick form. I tried to at least keep the spirit of the original when doing major re-writes.

Great Fleming, a fine sylvan lord,
Renown for his accurate sword.
He said "I must dash,"
"All chiggers to smash!"
"And then I'll be always adored."

~ Fleming

Althea, one fairer you'll ne'er see.
In battle she fought e'er so bravely.
Whenever she fell,
Bad jokes she would yell,
"The worse all the sooner they'll raise me!"

~ Magnels

He was known as the mighty Apollo!
The Master of Body he follow'd.
"There's one place", he said
"Which fills me with dread..."
"The Temple of Healing I'll ne'er go."

~ Okasa

There once was a lad named Elfway,
Who knew all his wine by Bouquet.
'till one day he drunk,
Too much of the junk,
His mouth tasted cotton all day.

~ Vequalir

His name it was Harfoot the Fleet,
No creature that he couldn't beat.
The one thing more dashing,
Than his swift sword a'flashing,
Was the breathtaking speed of his feet!

~ Zephyr

When she sang the old balads they'd cry,
But new poems Kiralyn wished to try.
There was only one thing,
She could think up to sing,
O'er and o'er "All Vermine must die!"

~ Okasa

There was an imp, Ifglem by name,
Who used Lorian's scrolls for his game.
Taking pieces of song,
He assembled them wrong,
Then shrilly sung of Nalsvys' fame.

~ Fleming

There once was an ELF they called Maak
Who vowed ev'ry insect to whack.
He'd slaughter a myrm
Which would then confirm
His flawless defense and attack!

~ Magnels

'lil Noa is known to be hyper,
'tis know from Apollo to Viper.
So everyone chants,
"You've ants in your pants"
"You might want to shake out that diaper!"

Torgo once had a scholarly friend.
Ilsardinish he sought 'ere to mend.
Sharp wits were his might,
Even during a fight,
He'd expostulate so, without end!

~ Fleming

There once was a medic named Red.
But "Robin" some called her instead.
Her moonstone it glowed,
Whilst chiding friend Toad,
"Fall again and I'll bust your thick head!"

~ Magnels

He was known as the brave Vequalir.
Of vermin he had little fear.
So when the DVs,
Did bite at his knees,
He'd boot those foul beasts in the rear!

~ Magnels

The life of a healer she led,
By raising the fallen that bled.
Kind Yazza by name,
She'd often exclaim,
"Without me you'd all still be dead!"

~ Magnels

There once was a spry lad named Zephyr
Who wore a large hat with a feather.
With a "Tip of his hat ™ "
He'd say to you that
The last time he washed it was never!
