Marching Band
It
is to say goodbye to all our seniors. They were a very good group
of students. They are just as nice as they are talented, and they
are very talented. As sad as it is to say goodbye though, it's
also very exciting when next year's band begins to form. I have
been meeting with drum majors and the other directors all summer.
I'm really looking forward to this school year. We have a great
halftime show planned, a new percussion class, and our new music
rooms have been an incredible boost for all. Mr. English
has been working hard with the drum majors to recruit students
coming into ninth grade. Mr. Bongovi has great things planned
for our percussion section this year. This group will be featured
for the entire second number and as the highest caliber group
of percussionists we've ever had, they deserve it. Mr. Robertshaw
is working on our drill and music while Ms. Huglemeyer is putting
together a new guard.
