Sympatry believes that computers are merely a tool to achive an end, and that to focus upon the computer as a direct replacement for what is currently possible is a mistake. Advances in computer science have made possible tasks that years ago were not merely impossible but unimaginable. It is our mission to make known these technologies to as wide an audience as possible.
Our
Methods
To reach as wide an audience as possible Sympatry is flexible in its business practices. Perhaps you are merely inquistive and would like to know more about the prospective benefits to your business, in which case a workshop style presentation followed by a small scale pilot project would suffice. In other situations you may have a problem already in mind to which our technology may be the solution, and your need could be met either by Sympatry working directly with your staff to integrate a solution or by providing intellectual consultancy.
Our
History
Sympatry grew out of work done in the City of London on applying artificial intelligence to the financial markets, especially for real time trade opportunity identification and portfolio management. The technologies used in that work, machine learning and evolutionary systems, were developed over the last decade by an ongoing research program.
