"The Digital Photography Book" I liked this book. It deserves it’ s best selling reputation. You are out on a photo shoot with Scott Kelby. and he answers your questions. He tells you what to do to get a better picture, and not about the subject of photography. |

Scott Kelby says I’ve never seen a field where equipment makes as big a difference as it does in photography. To get pro results sometime you have to use (and that means to buy) what the pros use. Scott tells you what the pros use, but you can use his advice with your digital equipment to do most of what he tells you to do to improve your pictures. As an example, for pictures of flowers he says to use a different angle. Shoot them from their level or looking up. Use a tripod. Use a shutter speed of 1/250 or better and wait for the wind to stop for sharp images. When you first get to where you are going to take pictures, first look around to find the best view, then set up your tripod At this writing, you can see the contents and a sample chapter at: http://www.peachpit.com/store/product.aspx?isbn=032147404X For more information from Peachpit Press or to buy a copy using your user group discount go to: |
