Happy Birthday Tommy, + NANA ost
6th February 2005

Probably the person with the birthday people are least likely to forget, Tommy today turns 30, so let's all collectively wish her a happy birthday and take a swig from our hip flasks.

And with this birthday comes new music from Tommy in her heavenly6 guise. This time she's contributing a track 'GIMME ALL OF YOUR LOVE!!' to the soundtrack 'LOVE for NANA ~Only 1 Tribute'. NANA is a manga series, and within the story are 2 bands, Black Stones and Trapnest, which various artists are siding with. Tommy's song is for the Black Stones. Also on the soundtrack are Sex Machineguns, Zone, Tetsu 69, Do As Infinity, and more. The album comes out (With 2 different covers, for each band) on March 16 through Toshiba EMI.

Ryo is set to release a 2nd single under the 'meister' name, this time an entirely new track not featured on his recently released album. The track, 'above the clouds', sees Japanese singer / songwriter Bonnie Pink handling vocal duties.

Released on November 26, the single will also include the track 'My World Down' feat. Mark Gardener, which is on the album, and used as the end theme for the anime 'Beck'. "above the clouds" will be used on the CM for the new Sony Cybershot L1.

Also, a new PV for the track 'Kind Of Cold' has begun screening on MTV and Spaceshower TV.

With Ryo having performed his one-off London gig, Shifty Disco have made the album available to order online. 'I met the music' won't however make it to brick and mortor stores in the UK until November 15, as opposed to September 20 as previously reported.
In the liner notes, Ryo mentions the possibility of a meister II (and even meister III), and also the desire to experiment with something new each year. His current interest is for his next album to be recorded in one take with a live band.

In the midst of Ryo's solo endevours, 2 of the brilliant green dvd's - 'the brilliant green clips' and the live 'Super Terra 2000' are set to be re-released on December 22. With the same running times as the first releases, it is unlikely that either will have any additional footage, however the prices of both have been reduced considerably to ¥2,300 and ¥2,800 respectively (down from ¥3,675 and ¥6,195).
