ABOUT
JOHN
I have enjoyed singing since as far back as I can remember. I was
born into a Christian family, my mother is a teacher at a Christian
High School, and my father is a pastor. I think these things all
strengthened my mother’s desire to make a singer out of me; she
wanted me, the last of her three sons, to be a singer for God.
Mother and I spent Saturday afternoons (after Church) practicing
gospel songs in English and Spanish. As the years went by my love
for singing grew. I began formal training at the age of twelve,
with a well-known singer in Jamaica. I continued my studies during
University years. I have been blessed with many wonderful
experiences; singing with my High School and University Choirs,
entering many government sponsored competitions, and most
importantly ministering for God! I love singing. All the songs tell
a story, stay with me as I tell you my
stories.
私について
私は、物心をついた頃から、歌を歌うことが好きでした。私はキリスト教を信仰する家に生まれました。（私の母は、キリスト教の学校で教師をしており、また、私の父は牧師をしています。）私の母は、私に教会で、神のために歌う歌手になってほしいと思っていました。特に、私は、3人兄弟の末っ子でしたので、母の思いは強かったようです。私の母と一緒に、土曜の午後（教会へ行った後）は、英語とスペイン語で、ゴスペルの歌を歌う練習をしてすごしました。時が経つにつれて、私の歌うことへの愛情（想い）は大きくなっていきました。私は、12歳の時に、ジャマイカの有名な女性歌手の元で、正式な歌の練習を始めました。私は、大学時代も歌の勉強を続けました。私は、多くの素晴らしい体験に恵まれてきました。例えば、合唱団（高校や大学）で歌ったり、政府主催のコンテストに出場したり、そして、最も、重要なのは、神に仕えて、教会で歌うことでした。そうです。ついに、母の願いはかなったのです。私は歌うことが好きです。全ての歌には物語があります。私は私の物語（想い）を込めて、皆さんに歌いたいと思いますので、私と一緒に、今日のこの時を共有してください。
