Other buildings are less scenic. These, seen from our bus when we took the "back road" between La Rochelle and Old Mutare, probably shelter farm workers. Each windowless hut likely houses one family, no matter what size the family is, and all share the communal latrines and washing facilities in the flat-roofed building.
