"An inventory and appraisement of the goods and chattels and personal property of Peter Schriver late of Manchester Township deceased taken by the subscribers, for the use of the widow of the said deceased under the act of Assembly allowing property to the value of three hundred dollars to widows of decedents first having been duly sworn [inserted: & affirmed - so at least one is Quaker] to value and appraise the same according to the best of our judgement and ability and without partiality.

"York County SS - Before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for said County personally came Christian Quickel, Martin H. Weiser and Daniel Cookes who being duly sworn [inserted: & affirmed] according to law do say that they will well and truly and without predjudice or partiality value and appraise the goods and chattels which were of Peter Schriver late of Manchester Township deceased and in all respects perform their duty as appraisers to the best of their skill and judgement.
