Sarah E. Emig to Charles J. Roland, dated 14 May 1888. Both of Manchester Township in York County, Pennsylvania. For $250, a "lot of ground situate in Emigsville in Manchester Township, County of York and state of Pennsylvania. Beginning at a point on the northerly side of the York and York Haven turnpike road at Eastward line of a lot of ground belonging to James Green and extending thence along said turnpike road twenty three degrees east fifty (50) feet, thence extending along the other part of the same premises north sixty seven degrees west one hundred and fifty (150) feet thence by the same South twenty three degrees west Fifty (50) feet thence along lot of ground belonging to James Green South sixty seven degrees east one hundred and fifty (150) feet to the place of beginning. Being part of the same premises which became lawfully vested in" Sarah Emig from Eduard K. Emig by a deed on 24 March 1887, as recorded in York County, Book 7X, Page 626 (described more fully there).
