When I got back from Zimbabwe, a friend at work mentioned that the "Save the Children" organization was collecting caps for pre-mature babies. I found out the caps were going to Malawi and Bangladesh, as part of the "Caps to the Capital" campaign. I finished many caps during December, including during a train trip to visit my parents over Christmas, but didn't take photos of them before sending them in. While at my parents' place, I took time out to crochet a hooded baby afghan, which my mother took to a local charity with the ones she had knitted.
