This introductory HTML course is offered at Hamden High School. HTML is an abbreviation for Hypertext Markup Language. It is used to create Web pages by taking ordinary text and marking it with tags. These tags produce varied effects using a Web browser such as Netscape or Internet Explorer.
This is primarily a lab course. Code is written on an HTML editor using PC's. Browsers used are Netscape and Internet Explorer. HTML is a 7 level course. There will be quizzes, tests and a final exam. You will be required to do homework on a computer, so you should be able to find time to spend in one of the labs connected to the internet if you do not have one at home.
