As I drive around the neighborhood and pass the beautiful homes of Tangletown, I often find myself trying to imagine what the insides look like. Yes, I’ll admit I am snoopy. I have lived in Tangletown for many years and there are still many houses that I have not been in yet. The Annual Tangletown Home Tour is our invitation to see five of these homes.
On Sunday, September 19th, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., join your neighbors and bring your friends to leisurely view five of Tangletown’s loveliest homes. You will see a variety of styles. Whether modern or traditional, cleanlined or over-stuffed, the styles of these homes will be a source of inspiration. Homes built in the early part of the 1900’s, as many of Tangletown’s homes are, face their own unique problems: small rooms, lack of closet space, and unique window shapes to name a few. Our featured homes will give you ideas on how others have tackled some of these problems.
While some homeowners have finished their dream projects, others still have big plans for the future. Your ticket/brochure will feature each home with a write-up by the owner detailing the features of their home that attracted them to it in the first place, the projects that have been completed, and those still to be done.
As you enjoy viewing these homes on the 19th, please think about volunteering to have your home be part of next year’s tour. If you have done a remodeling project or have just gotten your home the way you like it, we would be happy to showcase your home for the 2005 Annual Home Tour in Tangletown.
