More on Composite Functions

Creating a composite function is not hard, when done by hand, unless the function and the composite become complicated. Here is where LiveMath can come in very handy.

Before you let LiveMath do the work, try to solve the following composite by hand,

(the "y =" equation).

• Enter the following Props defining f(x) and g(x).

• In a third Prop enter the following composite.

• Next, plot the new function.

• Finally, determine the composite using the techniques learned so far.
