Despite my academic background as a zoologist and geologist, most of my time is now spent writing and producing content for a variety of publishers and media outlets. My teaching workload these days is limited to a history of science course for Pepperdine University and occasional adult education/amateur society classes and lectures.

I write for publishers in the fields of computing, fishkeeping, astronomy, palaeontology and geology. I’ve also provided services to journalists, broadcasters and documentary producers as diverse as Disney Channel and the BBC.
