Linear Diameter Calculator - Convert angular diameters of deep sky objects into actual diameters This is a tool for converting the angular diameter of a deep sky object into its actual (linear) diameter. It also handles some of the conversions you may need to perform to do this calculation, including handling distances in parsecs and angular diameters in arcminutes and arcseconds. Development This application was designed to help me work on a particular project where knowing the linear dimensions for large number of deep sky objects was necessary. Because the mathematics was tedious, I wrote this application to do the numberwork for me.
